Maki Horikita is now officially my favourite Japanese idol, after Aki Hoshino.
She’s a model, an actress, and a seiyuu (anime voice actress). She debuted when she was only 15 and became a U-15 idol. She’s 20 this year. And to those who are wondering, no, she does not do porn.
She was the vice-president of the student council and the vice-captain of the basketball club when she was in Junior High School, according to Wikipedia.
I was first introduced to her by the Japanese TV drama series Kurosagi where she was the main actress. She’s quite good in acting and I’m quite impressed with her acting skills. It wasn’t until I stumbled upon several idol images on the internet of her that I realised that she’s an idol, a U-15 one, too. Besides Kurosagi, she has done many other TV drama series and advertisements such as the one I’m sharing with you all below, Fire Emblem for Nintendo’s Gameboy Advance which she took in 2003.

Usually I would write this sort of post over @ Yamaki’s Anime Blog, but since the blog is practically dead, I might as well write it here.
And so, after a gruesome battle of moéness among anime characters, we have our final 8, and they are
By the way, 5 (five) of the 8 are Kyoto Animation’s characters. They must be really proud. XD
Personally I’m rooting for Tsukasa. What ’bout you?
Vote!

4ever? O’rly.
Well, this sounds harsh but I’ll make it as simple as possible:
A 43-year-old woman in Japan was picked up by the police (real life, not GM) after she had deleted (killed) the character which her character married in MapleStory. The 33-year-old man whose character was deleted lodged a police report after the woman logged into his account and deleted his character. Basically, the woman did so because she was so angry by the fact that her “husband” divorced her for no reason at all.
In this case, the woman was charged with inappropriate computer access, not killing.
My say: I may reconsider marriage in MapleStory. X_x

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Ong Tee Keat memenangi jawatan Presiden sebagaimana dijangkakan, tetapi pemilihan Timbalan Presiden memperlihatkan kejutan dengan dimenangi bekas Menteri Kesihatan, Datuk Seri Dr. Chua Soi Lek.
Soi Lek menewaskan Setiausaha Agung MCA, Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan; Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek, Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai dan Lee Hack Teik.
Like I have predicted, Ong Tee Keat won. And like I had hoped for, Chua Soi Lek won the Deputy Presidency!

If not of the unfortunate resemblance to the recent incident where Teresa Kok, Member of Parliament for Seputeh being targeted as a racist and Chinese chauvinist, I would think of this article in Utusan Malaysia as a fine piece of Sastera. Seriously! It should be translated into English and be distributed worldwide for everyone to be read. Indeed, a racist MP should be shot, and I’m serious. *glares at all the racist MPs in Malaysia and the world* If you’re one then beware.
It is a fact that Teresa Kok has never been a racist MP and she should not worry at all by this article if she’s not one. And yes, I can clearly see that she is not quite worried as she has been reluctant to say anything about it. If you ask me, it was Lim Kit Siang who had blown the whole thing out of proportion.
You see, Mr. Abdullah Badawi/Mahathir had never got angry or worried about his safety when an episode of Totally Spies tells the story of a disgruntled scientist kidnapping world leaders, including “the Prime Minister of Malaysia”. This is because it was a fiction, just like the story of Josephine, MP of Alam Maya.
Anyway, this reminds me of the Rosli Dhoby incident in Sibu which I studied in my Form 3 Sejarah textbook. They made Rosli Dhoby, the person who stabbed the Sarawak Birtish governer Duncan Steward to death, a hero. Well, it’s justified after all as the British did made the people of Sarawak suffer. However, Teresa Kok never made anyone suffered, except perhaps those people over at UMNO. Maybe that’s why people from UMNO have been targeting Teresa recently, uh? They have never denied it.
P.S: How do you define a racist? A racist, according to wikipedia, is the belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. So when I say a racist MP should be shot, I am saying if you can actually find one. I don’t it is easy to find a real racist, even here in Malaysia.

Yes, she is in fact a loli.
I never watched Toradora, but when I saw photos of a cute little girl being posted by someone over at RIUVA claiming that she looked like Aisaka Taiga of Toradora (above), the lolicon in my heart flourished (if you get what I mean)!
The person, Breadpit, was asking why we otakus are persistent in going for 2-D imaginary girls when there are equivalents in real life waiting to be obtained? Well, I’d say it’s because girls in real life are beyond our reach; nobody likes an otaku in real life. Anyone watched the first episode of Nodame: Parihen? I saw Shana within the first 10 minutes, seriously!
Oh and yes, I can see the girl’s panties through her semi-transparent dress. They’re so obvious. And I also doubt she’s wearing a bra.
P.S: She’s 16 years old, accordingly, both Aisaka Taiga and the little girl.

And this is not a joke. He’s smiling at you.
Bollywood idol Shah Rukh Khan will be a Datuk by Saturday. He’ll be bestowed the title by the Malacca Yang Dipertua Negeri, the same person which bestowed the title Datuk to Rexy Mainaky, the coach of Lee Chong Wei, in conjunction with his birthday.
Well, fine. But look, Badshah is not even a Malaysian, and I wonder what has he contributed to the Malaysian society to receive such an honour. Even the ex-principal of my school, Chang Yu On, has to die contributing to the education field before he was bestowed a Datuk title posthumously.
Just imagine how many Malaysian Indians in the country that don’t even get treated well, and look at Shah Rukh Khan. Humph..
