A Dose of MapleStory… (10) – Ariant

The other day I received a small package from Moppie at Orbis, you know, the dawg who eats fish… ahh nevermind. The package’s destination is… Ariant at the Nihal Desert. I told myself, ah, okay, might as well visit this desert. So I took a ship genie from the Orbis station to get to Ariant.

Once I reached there, I was not exactly welcomed. It was so bright and sandy. The town reminds me of the Ali Baba and the forty thieves… and it is in fact thieves that I am about to deal with in various quests. Blah.

Like a typical desert kingdom, there’s a palace with a Sultan in Ariant. The Sultan has a queen, and according to the locals, the queen’s a fairy from Orbis. My goodness. And look at the sleeping Sultan, Abdula the 8th. Why not just call him Abdullah Badawi, like our sleeping PM?

Thanks to the queen, the people of the town has been suffering. However, there’s a group of bandits in town which helps the people, and they are the Sand Bandit. The Sand Bandit consists of three NPCs, and they are:

Ereska,

Sezan,

…and Adin.

They look like ordinary crooks, no? Hmm.

Aso Taro, manga fan, now Prime Minister of Japan

Aso Taro, after two failed attempts (go die Shinzo Abe and Yasuo Fukuda), is now the Prime Minister of Japan. And thus, we now have a manga fan amongst our world leaders.

(you won’t catch Badawi, Najib, Anwar, Kit or Tok Guru reading a Rozen Maiden manga in the airport like Aso. Geddit?)

ReiRobin Replied!

Just a few weeks ago, I’ve written a short blog post on ReiRobin, featuring him as a potential manga artist from my school. Within a few days, ReiRobin himself had left a comment on that very article! He had even left a drawing especially for me! I’m so honoured! Seriously! You don’t know how high I became when I noticed the message left by him.

He had clarified that he has no intention on becoming a manga artist, but instead, he wants to become a 3D Animator. He said he drew mangas just because he wanted to start from the bottom, slowly, little by little, striving harder to achieve the result he’s aiming. See, how humble he is!

The art above is the artwork that he has given me. It reminds me of those great arts featured in TINAMI (The Internet Navigator of Manga Artists). I now share it with you all, my readers. Enjoy it!

Not at all. This “Hari Puttar” movie is a movie from India, and the movie is about the story of a 10-year-old kid whose family has moved to England and who is accidentally left behind when the rest of the family goes on holiday.

You should have smelled “Home Alone“, if you have not.

MapleStory Boss Monsters I Recently Defeated

Recently, I have met and defeated several Maple bosses. The bosses are not exactly that strong but it sure is a good experience as you don’t get to see boss monsters all the time.

The boss monsters that I have defeated are:

1. The boss of Lith Harbour: Mano.

2. The boss of Shanghai: Giant Centipede.

3. The boss of Perion: Stumpy. (Sorry I have deleted all of the screenshots I have taken)

I look forward to beating more boss monsters.

New Layout!

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve changed layout for this blog but the previous layout was… yuck. I realised it. But nevermind, here’s a new one. This time, I’m using the layout’s default banner because it is cool.

White is cool.

P.S: MP for Seputeh Teresa Kok has been arrested under ISA. It was her first time, too. Let’s wish they’d release her soon, or at least bring her to court. I mean like, she did nothing wrong, right? She had never made any petition to the mosque to keep quiet in the morning like claimed by the BN…

Potential Manga Artist from Tshung Tsin: ReiRobin

Reynolds Robin, or just ReiRobin, is a manga artist from Tshung Tsin school. He is currently a Junior 3 student, as for which class is he’s from, I’m not too sure. The mangas that he drew are comparable to those of local manga artists’ and he has real potential to become a successful manga artist. Of course it’ll be a long journey for him before he could be declared as a pro like Ben.

As of now, only a page of his manga is available in his deviantART account. For the others you’ll have to approach him yourself lah. It’ll be available on hard copy. He’s pretty nice I can say and he won’t eat you. I myself have noticed him since a few months ago – he and I follow the same bus. He’s quite friendly but we never talk (it’s my problem actually – I don’t usually talk.)
